STORY - compelling, action-filled stories of survival, love, or perseverance. As powerfully as possible, plots include:
CREATIVITY - fresh and original, non-derivative and non-sequel
MULTI-QUADRANT - broad, cross-cultural audience appeal for both men and women with characters of all ages
HIGH-CONCEPT - simple, easy-to-explain (and market) premises that can usually be summed up in a short “what if” sentence
HIGH PRODUCTION VALUES - professional leadership and craftsmanship across all departments that create high production values on-screen, responsible budgeting, and healthy work conditions.
ENDURING - edifying, useful, or engaging regardless of trends or time, offering enduring value to a broad global audience with non-gratuitous elements of romance, profanity, or violence included tastefully and only when story-motivated. A feel-good uplifting tone is a plus.
NAME-RECOGNIZABLE ACTORS - recognizable talent in at least one key role
DISTRIBUTION - contracts, expressed interest, and market intel from a viable distribution partner
